Clothes and Pins, A New Life Begins...

This is a full sheet cake with baby clothes and buttons. The baby's name is hanging on the clothes line on top of the cake.

Ellie

Ellie Anne Laymon was blessed on August 5th and this is the cake I brought to the luncheon. It's covered in fondant and the pink decorations are painted with a pink pearl dust to make them sparkle!

Baby Shower

This is a baby shower cake I got to make for my good friend, Amber. It's a 6" and 9" cake covered in Marshmallow Fondant and decorated with gumpaste decorations. The 9" cake is a blue/white checkerboard cake inside. I would guess that this one took me around 4 hours to decorate. Congratulations Amber and Ryan!

Layette On 'Em!

This cake took me 5 1/2 hours total to decorate. I spent one hour just doing the buttons. It took me 4 1/2 more hours to frost, cover with fondant, cut out shapes, and decorate the cake. I even impressed myself on this one. It turned out really cute.

Fondant Covered Cupcakes

My sister-in-law and I made these cupcakes together for her sister's bridal shower. I first filled the cupcakes with raspberry filling, then Katie frosted them while I rolled out the marshmallow fondant. We both decorated the outsides of them. They turned out so cute.

A baby shower cake I made for a friend. Bottom layer is 10" and top layer is 6". Decorations are out of buttercream frosting, pink molding chocolate, and artificial flowers.
